Dr. Levine and The Dreaded Blues Lady is comprised of Lorie Strother on vocals and Stephen Levine on guitar. This energetic duo performs a diverse selection of acoustic music styles. Though blues is their focus, they also sometimes surprise audiences with Jazz, R&B, Soul, and Classic Rock tunes.

Located under the pavilion directly in front of The Highland Center on Spruce Street, the Farmers’ Market boasts the finest in seasonal produce, local meats, baked goods, maple syrup, and other locally-crafted items.

Highland County Artists' WeekendArtists’ Weekend

June 26-29, 2020

Held the last full weekend in June each year, activities begin early Friday with a brief orientation at The Highland Center. Artists spend Friday and Saturday exploring Highland County, collecting inspiration, and bringing unique on-canvas creations to life. On Saturday evening, artists gather again at The Highland Center to share sketches and paintings at the “Wine and Walk Around,”  which is followed by dinner. Sunday morning provides a final opportunity to paint before the trip home. A Wet Paint Show and sale of paintings created over the weekend are on display at The Highland Center on Sunday afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm.
